Coca Cola Pavilion – Worth the Wait

Located in LiveCity Yaletown, the ‘Open Happiness’ Coca Cola Pavilion is a must-stop structure full of surprises and fun.  The experience is broken into three different areas, each providing engaging information and enough colour, props, and activities to keep anyone excited and engaged.

The pavilion kicks off by introducing you to the history of Coca Cola’s sponsorship and support of the Olympic Games through showcasing historic pictures, past Olympic Torches, and past Olympic designed cans/bottles.  You are then invited into the standing theatre to watch the story of the 2010 Torch Relay – a great opportunity for Coca Cola to tell its sponsorship story in an entertaining way that definitely tugs on your emotional strings.

With the history and corporate sponsorship messages delivered, the final area of the pavilion is focused on providing fun and showcasing Coca Cola’s dedication to sustainability and recycling.  While drinking your free bottle of Coca Cola you can participate in activity stations including two interactive videogame experiences and an Olympic Torch photo experience, all the while learning about Coca Cola’s new sustainable bottle and earth friendly initiatives and programs.

You will need about 30 minutes to complete the experience, and expect about an hour wait to enter the LiveCity and pavilion – but it’s well worth the wait.
