The idea behind Casa Italia is to represent all that is “Made in Italy” including integral images of sport, culture, and Italian art. The theme is brought to life in a trade show/retail type setting. The ministry of agriculture, Sanpaolo bank, as well as Freddy, the Italian’s team clothing supplier, had a significant presence in the space likely due to a strong sponsorship agreement. It was modern, clean, bright, and well laid out although it would have been nice to see some more interactive, experiential elements.
A large portion of the venue is closed to the public and will be used for corporate and team hosting. I can only guess that what Casa Italia may lack in experience is more than made up for in delicious food and wine.
